Neven Subotic ( Serbian Cyrillic Невен Суботић; born December 10, 1988 in Banja Luka, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player who is under contract with Borussia Dortmund and plays for the Serbian national football team.

Biography

Subotic was born in Banja Luka. His father was born in Kulasi Zeljko and his mother Svjetlana in Brestovo. His parents moved in 1990 with him and his sister to Germany. The family lived first in Schomberg in space Pforzheim, where he played at the local TSV Schwarzenberg from the F- Youth to Youth D. In 1999 he moved with his parents to Salt Lake City in the United States to escape deportation to Bosnia and Herzegovina. There he played in different clubs.

From college team of the University of South Florida Subotic moved 2006 Bundesliga 1 FSV Mainz 05, in which it was first used in the central defense league team, sometimes also during the A juniors.
