Nezha Bidouane

Nezha Bidouane ( born September 18, 1969 in Rabat ) is a former Moroccan athlete who had until 2001 was one of the world's best 400-meter hurdle runners since the early 1990s. At the 1997 World Championships in Athens, she became the first woman to a World Athletics Championship title for Morocco. In 2001 she was the second time World Champion.

Nezha Bidouanes first international success was the victory at the Africa Championship 1990. In 1991 she took part in the first World Athletics Championships, where she reached the semifinals ( 56.62 s ). Also at the 1992 Olympics, she came to the semifinals ( 55.08 s ).

After a long sporting career with another medal places at world championships and the Olympic Games, she ran on 6 October 2004 in Algiers her last race, which she won. With her personal best of 52.90 seconds, set up on 25 August 1999 at the World Championships in 1999, it was the end of season 2007 at number 9 of the eternal world leaderboard (see 400 - meter hurdles ).

Bidouane is the 3000 - meter steeplechase runner Abdelaziz Sahere ( * 1967, World Cup 1991 Six ) married. At a size of 1.74 m, they had a competition weight of 65 kg.
