NGC 1275

NGC 1275 (also known as radio source as Perseus A) is a galaxy 235 million light -years away from Earth. NGC 1275 currently collides with another galaxy with about ten million kilometers per hour, causing violent star formation. In NGC 1275, the supernova SN 1968a was (type I ) were observed. The galaxy was discovered on 14 February 1863 by the German - Danish astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest.
