Nicholas Reade

Nicholas Reade ( born December 9, 1946) is a British Anglican clergyman. He worked from 2004 to October 2012, Bishop of Blackburn.

Life and career

Reade attended the University of Leeds and graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor and a Diploma in Theology ( Diploma of Theology ). From 1970 he attended in preparation for the priesthood, the College of the Resurrection in Mirfield.

In 1973 he was ordained a deacon in 1974 as a priest. From 1973 to 1975 he was vicar at St Chad 's Church, Coseley, in the diocese of Lichfield.
