Nicole Gontier
Nicole Gontier (born 17 November 1991 Valle d'Aosta ) is an Italian biathlete.
Nicole Gontier took from 2008 to 2012 in all five junior world championships. After she placed in Ruhpolding in 2008 still beyond the top 40, it reached 2009 in Canmore ranked 24 in singles, 15 in the sprint and 20 in the pursuit. With Dorothea Wierer and Alexia Runggaldier she also won the bronze medal in the relay race. In between, the participation was due to the junior race of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2008 in Haute Maurienne, where Gontier 17 of sprints and Eleventh persecution and with Wierer, Daniele Piller Roner and Dominik Windisch in fourth place when a medal just missed. With Runggaldier and Giulia Collavo she won behind the Norwegians again the silver medal in the relay race. 2011 launched the Italian Ridnaun in their first race of the Junior European Championships and was 12th in singles, 32 was in the sprint and 24th of persecution. Very good results have reached the sports soldier in the junior race at the European Championships in 2012 with tenth place in the sprint, seven in pursuing and winning the bronze medal behind Marion Huber Rønning and Olga Galich in singles.
2010 Gontier denied in Martell her first race in the women's IBU Cup. In the sprint she qualified 43rd for the prosecution, in which they won their first points as 32 . In 2011 she reached in Annecy with number 23 in the individual their best result so far in the second-highest racing series. First international championships for women were the World Championships 2012 in Ruhpolding, in which 68 of the Single Page Gontier and 79 of the sprint was and reached the 12th place in the relay race with Wierer, Runggaldier and Katja Haller. With the start of the 2012/2013 season Gontier started in the World Cup. In Pokljuka she could Walk in the sprint rank 30 and thus won her first World Cup points. In Antholz they could improve their best performance to a 24th place in the pursuit. In the Biathlon World Championships 2013 in Nové Město, she won the Italian season at the side of Wierer, Michela Ponza and Karin Oberhofer surprising bronze and thus the first medal for an Italian women's relay at the biathlon World Cup. In individual she was 58, and 21 in the sprint in pursuit of 30
