Nikita Alexeev

Nikita Sergeyevich Alexeev (Russian: Никита Сергеевич Алексеев; * December 27, 1981 in Murmansk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player, who was last at Severstal Cherepovets in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Nikita Alexeyev started his career as a hockey player with the Erie Otters, for which he was active from 1998 to 2001 in the Ontario Hockey League. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2000 in the first round as a whole eighth player from the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League in the 2001/ 02 season.
