Nikken Sekkei

K. K. Nikken Sekkei (Japanese株式会社 日 建 设计, Kabushiki - gaisha Nikken Sekkei, Eng. Nikken Sekkei Ltd. ) Is a Japanese architecture firm. The office founded in 1900, is the oldest of Japan and has over 2800 employees and a trunk capacity of 460 million yen and the largest design office in the country. Head of the office is in Chiyoda, which belongs to the prefecture of Tokyo. More branches maintains the company in Osaka, Nagoya, Kyushu and Tohoku. There are also two overseas branches in Los Angeles and Singapore.

The architectural firm has designed over 20,000 projects in over 40 countries and implemented, mainly in Asia. It offers planning performance of the architecture also engineering services and other services. The office is known mainly for its numerous high-rise tower structures such as, for example, also for the currently highest television tower in the world, the Tokyo Skytree.

Name

The company name Nikken Sekkei is an acronym of the first letters of the Japanese words for " Japan" (Ni -hon ) and "architecture" (ken - chiku ) composed and the word " planning " has been added.

The Office Nikken Sekkei has been honored only in the last 20 years with more than 150, some international awards for his work.
