Nordfriedhof (Munich U-Bahn)

Metro Station North Cemetery is a railway station of the Munich U -Bahn. It was opened on 19 October 1971 and is one of the few stations with side platforms. Here was rammed on 1 February 1965 in the bottom of the Bavarian Prime Minister Alfons Goppel and the mayor of Munich Hans- Jochen Vogel, the first steel beam. The walls are like the blanket of fiber cement panels, which feature a simple gray. The columns are painted yellow and the bottom is lined with black Isarkiesel motif. At the southern end result roll and fixed stairs and a lift over a floor lock for Ungererstraße. At the northern end can also be reached via a lock basement Schenkendorfstraße, Ungererstraße and the North Cemetery, after which the station is named. The proposed name was " Schenkendorfstraße ".
