Westpark (Munich U-Bahn)
Underground Station West Park is a railway station of the Munich U -Bahn. It was opened on 15 April 1983, is one of the three opened the IGA stations. It is located in Munich's Sendling -Westpark under the Ehrwalder road and is named after the park Westpark. Rear track walls are made of yellow, green and blue wall panels, which are bent inward at the top. The columns in the middle are covered with yellow tiles. The ceiling construction consists of aluminum fins in which two light bands sit. They shed light on the platform, which is designed with Isarkiesel motif. At the west end of rolling and fixed stairs lead to a lock floor and on to the street and the Treffauer Klaiser way. At the eastern end can also be reached via roller and fixed stairs and a lift a lock basement and on the surface of the road in Garmisch.
