Noroy-le-Bourg

Noroy -le- Bourg is a commune in Haute -Saône in the Franche -Comté. It is the capital of the canton Noroy -le- Bourg in the arrondissement of Vesoul.

Geography

Noroy -le- Bourg is located at an altitude of 372 m above sea level, about 11 km east of the town of Vesoul (air line). The village is located in the central part of the department, on a plateau between the heights of Champ Fleury in the south and Les Crays de Valdemouge in the Northeast.

The area of ​​31.78 km ² municipal area comprises a section in the rolling countryside between the basin of Vesoul in the west and the level of Lure in the east. The central part of the area is occupied by a plateau, which is on average 360 m. It is used predominantly agricultural, but also has some wood surfaces. This plateau is the heights of Les Crays de Valdemouge ( 438 m), Champ Fleury ( with 447 m the highest elevation of Noroy -le- Bourg ) and Mont Bloizeau (428 m) towers above. History

Attractions

The three-nave village church was rebuilt in the 19th century in the Gothic Revival style.
