North Aegean

As North Aegean (Greek Βόρειο Αιγαίο, Vorio Egeo ) is referred to one of the thirteen administrative regions of Greece. It has around 210,000 inhabitants and includes islands that include a geographical basis to the North Aegean and eastern Aegean islands as well as to the Southern Sporades. The capital is Mytilene on Lesbos.

Regional districts and municipalities

The North Aegean region is divided into five regional districts. Proportional to their population, they send a certain number of MEPs in the 41 -member Regional Council.
