North Fond du Lac is a municipality ( with a status of "Village" ) in Fond du Lac County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, North Fond du Lac had 5014 inhabitants.

Geography
North Fond du Lac is located in the central southeastern Wisconsin on the south end of Lake Winnebago, approximately 50 km west of Lake Michigan. The geographic coordinates of North Fond du Lac are 43 ° 48'41 " north latitude and 88 ° 29'00 " west longitude. The municipality covers an area of 5.54 km ².
North Fond du Lac is located in the north- western suburbs, the city of Fond du Lac, whose center is located 7.1 km to the southeast. Other neighboring towns are Van Dyne (9,7 km north) and Rosendale (23,5 km to the west ).
The nearest major cities are Green Bay on Lake Michigan (102 km north- north-east ), Wisconsin's largest city, Milwaukee (113 km south-southeast ), Chicago, Illinois (255 km in the same direction), Rockford, Illinois (212 km south-southwest ) and Wisconsin's capital Madison ( 124 km south-west ).
Traffic
U.S. Highway 45 runs north -south direction along the shore of Lake Winnebago. The southwestern city limits is made of four-lane U.S. Highway 41. All other roads are minor roads, some unpaved roadways and within local roads.
By North Fond du Lac runs a railway line of the Canadian National Railway today belonging Wisconsin Central, which operates a rail yard in the north- east of the village.
On the southern edge of North Fond du Lac is the eastern terminus of the running on the route of a former railway line Mascoutin Valley State Trail, a rail trail for walkers and cyclists. In the winter the trail can be traveled with snowmobiles and skis.
The Fond du Lac County Airport is located 6.2 kilometers south of a small airfield. The next airports are the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison (120 km southwest) and the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee ( 116 km south-southeast ).
