Northwestern Air, based in Fort Smith, Canada, is a regional airline, which serves destinations in the Northwest Territories, Alberta and British Columbia.
History
The airline was founded in 1965 as a leasing company and took, after conversion to an airline, in 1968 the flight operation.
Since its founding, the company is continuously owned by the founding family.
