Nová Ves (Rychnov nad Kněžnou District)

Nová Ves ( German Neudorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 18 kilometers southeast of the center of Hradec Králové and belongs to Okres Rychnov nad Kněžnou.

Geography

The scattered settlement is located on the left side of the confluence of Wild Eagle and Stiller eagle on the High Brucker panel ( Třebechovické tabule ). Nová Ves is surrounded to the south, west and east by woods, on the southern edge of the creek is fed by the brook Novoveský Stauweiher Novoveský fishpond. Further south is also located in the corridors of the community with the Starožďárský rybnik another big fish pond. To the east of the town run the state road 305 from Týniště nad Orlicí after Borohrádek as well as the railway between Týniště nad Orlicí and Choceň where is the nearest railway station in Zdar nad Orlicí.

History
