Nueva Valencia, Guimaras

Nueva Valencia is a Philippine municipality in the province of Guimaras. It has 37 852 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ). In the waters of the congregation, in the Gulf of Panay, is the Taklong Iceland National Marine Reserve, it was founded in 1990.

In August 2006 there was an oil spill after the ship MT Solar 1 sank a few miles off the coast.
