Nuno André Coelho

Nuno André Coelho da Silva ( born January 7, 1986 in Penafiel ) is a Portuguese football player who is under contract with SC Braga in the summer of 2011.

Career

At the age of 18 years Coelho joined by local youth club FC Penafiel to neighbors FC Porto, where he led the first few months for the reserve team aground in 2005. After he was loaned out for a short time to the Portuguese second division side FC Maia, followed in the next three seasons continue lending with Standard Liege, Portimonense SC and CF Estrela Amadora.

On 4 August 2008 Coelho played his first game in the first-class Primeira Liga in a 1-0 victory against Académica de Coimbra Amadora. After his return to Porto, he completed only one game in the league season.

For the 2010/11 season changed Coelho plus 11 million euros in exchange for João Moutinho to Sporting Lisbon and there wrote a four-year contract. His first game he completed on August 13 in the 0-1 defeat against FC Paços de Ferreira. After Sporting lost the first leg of the Europa League play-offs 0-2, the second leg was won 3-0, with Coelho scored a 40-yard score and his club thus moved into the group stage.

At the end of the season Coelho, who had to expose some games for health reasons, was sold to SC Braga where he signed a four-year contract until 2015.
