Oberkrämer
Oberkrämer is a municipality and district Upper Havel (Brandenburg). It was created in 1998 through the merger of three initial communities. Four other municipalities joined in 2001. The municipality is thus identical to that of the existing 1992 to 2001 Office Oberkrämer.

Geography
Geographical Location
The community Oberkrämer located in the extreme southwest of the district of Upper Havel, about ten kilometers north-west of Berlin.
Community structure
The community Oberkrämer divided according to main statutes in the following districts:
- Acanthus
- Bötzow
- Eichstädt
- Marwitz
- New Vehlefanz
- Schwante
- Vehlefanz
In addition, still exist following residential places in the municipality: Expansion, Karlsruh, small Ziethenstraße, Koppehof, Chandler Poole, Kuckswinkel, New Schwante, rescue center, settlement on Bärenklauer way Sommerswalde, Wendemark, Wirus and Wolf Lake.
History
The history of the community Oberkrämer goes back basically to 1992. As part of the education offices in Brandenburg seven churches in the then district of Oranienburg had, the Office Oberkrämer together to form a management group. On 30 July 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave its approval for the formation of the Office Oberkrämer. As the time of conclusion of the Office August 10, 1992 has been set. The office was located in the municipality Eichstädt.
On 27 September 1998, the municipalities Eichstädt, New Vehlefanz Vehlefanz and formed the new congregation Oberkrämer. As of 31 December 2001, the new church Oberkrämer was formed from the communities Oberkrämer hogweed, Bötzow, Marwitz, and Schwante. The Office Oberkrämer was dissolved on the same date. The first and only official director was Helmut Jilg.

History
On the Mathiasberg was 1941-1945 a pilot plant for wind energy.
In October 1989, the Social Democratic Party was founded in the GDR (SDP ) from a group of 40 active civil rights activists in Schwanter rectory, this movement belonged to the former civil rights movement. The creation of the SDP took place before the fall of the Wall. From the SDP then the East German SPD was formed in 1990.

The coat of arms was approved on 19 December 2001.

The community Oberkrämer performs a flag, which is described as follows: Dreistreifig Green-Silver ( White ) Green in the ratio 1: 2: 1 with the municipal coat of arms in the middle strip.

Economy and infrastructure
Traffic
The districts hogweed, Vehlefanz and Schwante each have breakpoints at the Kremmener web. The holding of the stations referred to regional rail trains to Hennigsdorf and Kremmen. (Formerly Schwante ) at the Federal Highway 10 and on the highways 96 and 273 is Oberkrämer connected via connection point Oberkrämer to the federal trunk road network.
