The Ōji Station (Japanese王子 駅, Ōji eki ) is located in Kita located in Tokyo, Japan. He is the deaths approached from JR Higashi- Nihon and the Tōkyō Metro and the last remaining tram Tokyo's Arakawa Line. On line network plans of the Tokyo Metro station is called N -16 for dieNamboku line. The tram stop is officially王子 駅 前( Ōji Ekimae, dt " Before Ōji Station ").

History

The station was (道,日本 鉄"Japan Railways " ), opened on 28 July 1883 by the first private railway company in Japan, Nippon tetsudō as a passenger station on the line between Ueno and Kumagaya. With the nationalization of the private railway companies of the station passed into the possession of the Japanese National Railways on 1 November 1906.

A few years later opened the tram station of Arakawa Line on 17 April 1915. In 1987 went over the previous station of the state railway in the possession of the products resulting from the privatization of the state railway JR Higashi- Nihon on April 1. November 29, 1991, the Metro Station Namboku production line into operation on 1 April 2001 and went to the privatization of the lines in the possession of the Tōkyō Metro over.

Since November 18, 2001 can be used as an electronic ticket on the JR Higashi- Nihon station the Suica.

Design and tracks

Both railway stations and the bus stop are built in the most common design as a through station and feature two platform tracks.

JR Higashi Nihon - platforms

The JR Higashi- Nihon station was built on a high track and is only served by the Keihin - Tohoku Line. Directly west of the platform tracks run parallel to the tracks of the Utsunomiya and Takasaki Line. The two platform tracks are serviced by a single central platform from.

Platforms Tōkyō Metro

The station of the Tōkyō Metro is located in the underground about 100 m north of JR Higashi- Nihon station. He is approached by the Namboku line and features which are serviced by a single central platform for a total of two platform tracks.

Platforms deaths Arakawa Line

The stop of the deaths Arakawa line located directly east of the railway tracks of the JR Higashi- Nihon and is located on the ground floor. It has which are operated by two side platforms from two platform tracks.
