Oliver Bozanic

John Oliver Bozanic ( born January 8, 1989 in Sydney ) is an Australian football player. He currently stands at FC Luzern under contract. His father, Vic Bozanic was in the early 1980s Australian national football players.

Club career

Bozanic came to his first stakes in the adult area during the Pre -Season Cup 2006 for the Central Coast Mariners, but was subsequently not professional contract and moved in early 2007 to the English club Reading FC. In his first two years at Reading he played for the youth and reserve team, but he won with the Reserve 2007 the overall championship of the Premier Reserve League.

Between January and April 2009 he played on loan in the Conference National for FC Woking and scored in 18 league inserts two goals. Despite the Erstligaabstiegs of Reading in the season 2008/ 09 and a contract extension in the summer of 2009, Bozanic was awarded for the first half of the 2009/10 season at Cheltenham Town in the Football League Two. His dortiger stay in late August ended after four operations due to a knee injury he recovering from his tribe club Reading.

In late November 2009, he was awarded the League Two again at Aldershot Town, broke his stay in April 2010 after 25 league operations, however prematurely. At the end of the season he was not a new contract offer from Reading and left the club after three years, to have completed a competitive match for the first team without ever.

Just a few days after his departure from Reading had become known, he signed a two -year contract as a Junior Marquee player in the Central Coast Mariners. In the 2012/13 A- League season he was with the Mariners Australian Masters.

For the 2013/14 season he moved, equipped with a two-year contract, in the Super League for FC Luzern. In the first four games of the season he has already scored five goals.

National

Bozanic belonged to 2006 and 2008 to the Australian squad at the U- 19 Asian Cup. While the team in 2006 failed in the quarterfinals, qualified one in 2008 by reaching the semi-finals for the Junior World Championships in 2009 in Egypt. The World Cup finals in September 2009, he missed because of a knee injury suffered in August.

In August 2009, he was first appointed to the Australian national team, came in the subsequent friendly against Ireland but not used. Finally he came to his debut four years later, when he came off the bench in October 2013 in a friendly match against Canada.
