Woking F.C.

The Woking FC ( officially: Woking Football Club ) is an English football club based in Woking. The association founded in 1889, spent many years in the Isthmian League. Currently, the club in the Conference National, the fifth highest league level, active. The club is also known as The Cardinals and The Cards.

In 1992 Woking was promoted to the Football Conference and won in 1994, 1995 and 1997, the FA Trophy.

In its history, the club has produced some major players, such as Scott Smith ( New Zealand national team from 1998 to 2003 ), Nassim Akrour ( Algerian national team from 2001 to 2004 ), Malik Buari ( played at FC Fulham), Kevin Betsy ( also played at FC Fulham), Ian Selley ( played at Arsenal ) and Clive Walker ( finished his career in Woking, also played at Chelsea ).
