Olivier Deschacht

Deschacht ( born February 16, 1981 in Ghent) is a Belgian footballer who acts as a left-back at RSC Anderlecht.

Career

In the club

At seven, he began playing before he moved to KAA Gent 1991 Begonia Lochristi. He then spent two years (1995-1997) at SC Lokeren and Anderlecht signed in to play in their academy. His debut in the first team, followed in 2001 under coach Aimé Anthuenis. In twelve seasons, he played 322 matches and scored six goals.
