Orlyval

The Orlyval is a driverless metro from VAL in the south of Paris, which runs as a special line of the Paris Métro between Antony station to the RER B and the airport Paris -Orly. It is privately funded and opened on October 2, 1991.

Operator

The suffix " - eq " stands for Vehicle of automatique Léger, lightweight automated vehicle. It is driverless, automatically controlled vehicles running on rubber tires. Each train consists of two cars. It was designed by the vehicle manufacturer Matra in 1971 and first introduced in Lille.

The busy from the Orlyval trains route is about 7.3 km long and has a pendulum - character. It is a separate deal, zones or multi-day tickets RATP are not valid here. Stations

There are only three stations Antony (RER line B ), Orly Ouest and Orly -Sud. For security reasons, the platforms are equipped with platform screen doors.
