Osieki SÅ‚upskie

Osieki Słupskie ( German Wusseken ) is a village in Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

Osieki Słupskie located in Pomerania, about 16 kilometers east of Ustka ( Stolpmünde ), 16 kilometers north of Slupsk and 104 kilometers west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

History

Osieki Słupskie was formerly a Gutsbezirk, who had been v. Bandemer was originally an ancient fief of one branch of the family. Around 1784, there were Wusseken two outworks, two farmers, two Kossäten and eleven fireplaces ( dispensations ).

By 1945 Wusseken belonged to the district of Stolp in the Prussian province of Pomerania.

Towards the end of the Second World War, the region was occupied in March 1945 by the Red Army. After the war, the region was put together with all Pomerania under Polish administration.

The village has now (2011) about 130 inhabitants.

Parish

The inhabitants were predominantly Protestant. Wusseken was the parish in the parish of Great Guard ( Gardna Wielka ) and thus belonged to the Church Stolp -Altstadt. The last charge of Wusseken German parish priest was called Kypke.

  • Christian Friedrich von Bandemer (1717-1782), landowner and a Prussian officer.
