The otoyol Highway 3 ( Turkish Avrupa Otoyolu, short O-3 ) is a highway that connects the cities of Istanbul and Edirne. 51 km of the highway are expanded on both sides two lanes, and the remaining 180 km three-lane on both sides. Built from 1987 to 1997 road closes in Istanbul at the O-1 and O -2 and ends at the border crossing Kapitan Andreevo - Kapıkule. At the connection points Edirne Dogu, Lüleburgaz, Kınalı, Selimpaşa, Kumburgaz and Avcılar lead feeder road with two lanes in each direction.
