The community association Otter mountain is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality includes the town of Otter mountain and four independent local communities, the administrative headquarters are in the eponymous town of Otter mountain.

On 1 July 2014, the municipality Otter mountain will be merged with the municipality Otterbach.

History

The community association Otter Hill was built in 1971 as part of a functional and territorial reform in the state of Rhineland -Palatinate.

During the second, begun in 2010, Rhineland-Palatinate, municipal and administrative reform, the Association of Municipalities Otter mountain and Otterbach are to be merged on the basis of the current and so-called until 30 June 2012 " voluntary " phase.
