Özden Öngün

Özden Öngün ( born September 10, 1978 in Izmit ) is a former Turkish football goalkeeper and coach.

Speielerkarriere

Club career

He plays in the position of goalkeeper. He is married and has one child. His previous positions as players were Sakaryaspor, Kocaelispor, Konyaspor, Kayserispor and Çaykur Rizespor.

For spring 2012 it its discoverer and promoter Hikmet Karaman brought to its new site of action for Gaziantepspor.

For the end of the season he left Gaziantepspor and moved to Mersin İdman Yurdu. Even after a half season he returned to Gaziantepspor.

End of December 2013 he dissolved his contract with Gaziantepspor and then ended his playing career.

National team career

Özden Öngün began early on to play for the Turkish youth national teams. He went through from the U-17, almost all youth teams. In 1998, he once played for the Turkish national football team. In 2005 he received two further nominations, it was not used here.

Coaching career

Following his coaching career, he staretete a coaching career and became the first coach to work Goalkeeper Coach items of the Turkish U-15 national team.
