Pacheco Pass AVA

Pacheco Pass AVA ( recognized since March 12, 1984) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of California. The area is located in the administrative areas of Santa Clara County and San Benito County. The region is part of the larger Central Coast AVA and San Francisco Bay AVA. The Pacheco Pass is a 24 km long corridor with the San Francisco Bay Area to the west and the San Joaquin Valley to the east.
