Pallavolo Sirio Perugia was an Italian women's volleyball club based in Perugia ( Umbria ), who played in the Italian Serie A.

History

Pallavolo Sirio Perugia was founded in 1970 and played since 1996 in Italy's top league " Serie A1 ". The women constantly played with in the top group and were 2003, 2005 and 2007 Italian Champion. There were five Italian Cup victories (1992, 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007 ). Also in Europe Pallavolo Sirio Perugia was a top team. So you won the 2000 European Cup Winners' Cup, in 2005 and 2007, the CEV Cup and in 2006 and 2008 Champions League winner. In recent years the team went under the name of sponsor " Colussi Sirio Perugia " and " Sirio Perugia Despar " to. 2011, the club was disbanded because of financial difficulties.
