Palmelo

Palmelo is a small Brazilian municipality in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion southern Goiás and in the micro-region Pires do Rio. It is located south-southwest of the Brazilian capital Brasília and Goiânia southeast of the capital.

Geographical location

Palmelo located between the municipalities of Pires do Rio in the east and Santa Cruz de Goiás in the West. The distance to the capital Goiânia is 128 km by highway GO- 020 (BP -352 ) via Cristianópolis and Bela Vista de Goiás.
