Pamplona (Negros Oriental)

Pamplona is a Philippine municipality in the province of Negros Oriental. It has 34 471 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).

Pamplona is 38 km north of Dumaguete City and can be reached from there via roads. The municipality has an area of ​​216.70 km ². 80 % of the area is hilly and mountainous and is between 300 and 800 meters above the sea.

Twelve kilometers from the main town in the Baranggay Abante, are the Palaypayfälle.
