Paolo Bianco ( born August 20, 1977 in Foggia, Italy ) is an Italian footballer who plays for U.S. Sassuolo Calcio in the Italian Serie B.

Playing career

Paolo Bianco began his career as a footballer at U.S. Foggia in his hometown. When former first division team he played as a youth player. In 1999, Bianco was promoted to the first team. After nearly 100 games Bianco left in 1999 the amateur club and signed a contract with the second division FBC Treviso. There he remained for five years before moving to ambitious Catania Calcio.

With Catania Bianco increased in the 2005/06 season, although in Italy's highest league, left the club, however, to obtain a contract with league rivals Cagliari Calcio. In summer 2009, he signed with Atalanta, the defensive player joined in July 2010, the second division U.S. Sassuolo Calcio at.

Bianco was briefly a member of the Italian U- 21 team for which he completed his only game in the home match against Wales on 22 April 1998. Italy won the game 2-1.
