Papyrus 100

Papyrus 100 ( Gregory- Aland 100 Sigel called ) is an early copy of the Greek New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript of James letter contains only the verses from 3.13 to 4.4; 4.9-5.1. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 3rd or 4th century.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. The text generally conforms with the Alexandrian witnesses, 74, א, A, and B.

Place to keep

The manuscript is currently in the Ashmolean Museum, under the signature of P. Oxy. 4449 preserved at Oxford.
