Papyrus 18

Papyrus 18 ( Gregory- Aland Sigel 18 referred ) is a early Greek copy of a part of the Bible. On the front it contains the end of chapter 40 of the book of Exodus. Means palaeographic provisions is dated to the end of the second century this text. On the back there is an early copy of the Book of Revelation, but only contains the verses from 1.4 to 7. It is a miniature of Conduct. Here you can download the font date to the time of the 3rd or 4th century.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category I. This manuscript shows largest accordance with the Codex Ephraemi.

The papyrus is currently kept in the British Library ( Inv. 2053v ) in London.
