Papyrus 71

(Referred to Gregory- Aland Sigel 71) Papyrus 71 is an early copy of the Greek New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript of the Gospel of Matthew contains only the verses 19,10-11.17-18. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 4th century.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Kurt Aland placed it in Category II.
