Papyrus 82

(Referred to Gregory- Aland Sigel 82) Papyrus 82 is an early copy of the Greek New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript contains some parts of Luke's Gospel. The remaining text comprises the verses 7,32-34.37-38. Using palaeography he has been dated to the 4th or 5th century.

The Greek text of this codex probably representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category II because of his age.

The manuscript is in the Bibliothèque nationale et universitaire under the signature P. Gr. 2677 in Strasbourg.
