Pascal Grünwald
Pascal Grünwald ( born November 13, 1982 in Innsbruck) is an Austrian football goalkeeper.
Career
Pascal Grünwald began at SVG Reichenau playing football and came through the youth department of FC Wacker Innsbruck and Innsbruck AC to WSG Wattens. From 2005 he was third goalie at SV Austria Salzburg, where he came to a total of nine appearances in the Bundesliga. After reconstitution of the clubs as FC Red Bull Salzburg, he was made a year later in 2006 after Traun, but where he came as little used.
2007 came Pascal Grünwald to FC Wacker Innsbruck again as second goalie behind Željko Pavlović. After the descent of Innsbruck was Pascal Grünwald 2008 strain goalie in the First League.
With the FC Wacker Innsbruck Grünwald was in season 2009/10, two points ahead of FC Admira Wacker Mödling master of second-class Austrian First Division and thus increased with the team on to the Bundesliga.
On June 7, 2011 it was announced that Pascal Grünwald signed a 3-year contract with FK Austria Wien. About the peel arrangements were not disclosed.
On August 5, 2011, he was appointed national team coach Didi Constantini under in the Austrian national team, for whom he played for the first time on 6 September 2011 at the European Championship qualifier against Turkey and it did not concede. He also played the last two qualifiers against Azerbaijan ( 4-1) and against Kazakhstan (0-0 ).
Middle of the autumn season, he initially lost after the 2-2 draw against Kapfenberg his place in goal. In early December 2011, he retired to a hernia and had to pause for one month. After his recovery he retired in mid-January 2012 at the training camp to a shoulder dislocation and had to pause for five months. On April 2, 2014 he announced his return to FC Wacker Innsbruck.
