Daniel Royer
Daniel Royer (born 22 May 1990 in Schladming ) is an Austrian football player at the position of midfielder. He currently plays for FK Austria Wien.
Career
Youth
Royer began his career as a youth player at FC Schladming in Upper Styria, where he was active from 1996 to 2004. In 2004 he moved to the youth department of the Styrian capital clubs SK Sturm Graz. His first competitive match in storm - dress gave the midfielder on August 28, 2005 in U-17 Toto Youth League against SK Rapid Wien. The game ended in Purkersdorf 2:4. Royer scored two goals in this game season, among other things, he played with Christoph Kröpfl in a team. In the subsequent Youth League season Royer came back in the U-17 as well as in the U -19 are used. The U-19 could reach the seventh place. 2007/ 08 he was accepted in the spring of 2008 in the amateur team.
Club career
His debut with the amateurs in the regional center was Royer on 16 May 2008 against TSV Hartberg. He came on in the 63rd minute for Markus Ostermann. The game ended 1-1 in Kumberg. Subsequently, he completed four more games, where he scored a goal against 1 FC Vöcklabrucker against the SVG lead castle. The amateurs were runners-up. In the 2008 /09 season he came on twelve missions and scored two goals ( over SC Weiz and Union St. Florian). It was behind the rivals from Styria TSV Hartberg and Grazer AK of third parties.
2009/10 he moved to the Regional promoted FC Traun, a successor organization of the former Bundesliga Superfund Pasching. Royer was used in the later the champions 25 times and scored six goals. One could not rise because of the lack license for the First League. Then, the midfielder has been committed by the Upper Austrian Bundesliga side SV Ried. Royer made his debut in the Bundesliga Matchday 1 of the 2010/11 season 17 July 2010 against his former master club Sturm Graz. He was substituted in the 71st minute when the score was 0:2 for Philipp Huspek. The game in the No Worries Arena ended 0:3. At the end of his first full season Royer was with the Austrian Cup winner SV Ried.
After the start of the 2011/12 season and missed the entry into the Europa League group stage Royer joined on August 31, the last day of the transfer window, with the German club Hannover 96 His debut for the Hanoverian he gave on 24 September 2011 at the Bundesliga game against FC Augsburg. Royer came off the bench in the 88th minute for Sérgio Pinto. The game ended goalless in SGL arena.
For the season 2012/13 Royer joined on loan to FC Cologne 1.
On 24 June 2013, the FK Austria Wien announced the signing of Royer. He was fitted with a contract for two years plus an additional optional year.
Internationally
Royer has been convened twice for the U-20 national team of Austria on call, but was not taken into account in the final analysis for the games in the Four Nations Tournament ( games against Germany, Switzerland, Italy). On 19 May 2011 was first drafted into the Austrian national team Daniel Royer of team coach Didi Constantini. In the subsequent match 3 June 2011 Royer has already come to his first race for the Austrian national team. He appeared as a substitute in the European Championship qualifying match against Germany in the 82nd minute.
