Florian Mader

Florian Mader ( born 14 September 1982 in Innsbruck) is an Austrian football player at the position of midfielder. Since 2011 he plays for FK Austria Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Career

Prior to his professional career Mader played for the youth teams of Schmirn SV and the SV Matrei. Later he moved into the BNZ Tyrol and was with the U-18 Austrian Champion. After the rise of FC Wacker Tirol in the season 2002/ 03 from the Regional League West to the second-class First League, Mader entered the game operation of the first team of the club. Together with his teammates, he rose at the end of the season once again and played from the following season in the top division of the country in the Austrian Football Bundesliga. His debut in the Bundesliga were Mader on 13 July 2004 in a 1-0 home win against Grazer AK when he came on in the 67th minute for Jerzy Brzeczek. His first Bundesliga succeeded Mader on November 6, 2004 in the second minute of stoppage time in the 1-3 away defeat against SK Sturm Graz. In 2005 he returned back to Innsbruck and played for a year at SC Rheindorf Altach, where he again managed to move up to the highest Austrian league. In 2006 he returned to the Tyrol, where he played until relegation in 2008.

During the summer break ahead of the 2008 /09 season he signed a contract with SV Ried. 2010/11 he was with the Austrian Cup winner SV Ried and moved to beginning of season 2011/2012 for FK Austria Wien. In Austria it was 2012/13 Austrian champion.
