Pastavy

Pastawy (Russian Поставы / Postawy ) is the capital of the eponymous Rajons in Belarus in the Wizebskaja Woblasz with around 20,000 inhabitants.

Geography

The city is located in the north of the country near the border with Lithuania and in the vicinity of the recreation area around the Naratsch Lake.

Traffic

Pastawy is due to several side roads and on the railway line from Polotsk to Vilnius ( Lithuania).
