Paul Rubell
Paul Rubell Martin ( born September 6, 1952 in Los Angeles ) is an American editor.
Life
After graduating from UCLA in English Literature gave a friend of Paul Rubell to assist him an interview to Alan Balsam edit for Loose Shoes, a low-budget film with Bill Murray. He sold Rubell as a highly experienced editor and spent an entire weekend doing it, the operation of cutting teach. As a balm, however, asked during the interview Rubell to control the film after synch, Rubell took the film roles, locked herself in a room and called his friend to find out what had synch. He got the job and in addition to the release of Loose Shoes in 1980 published three more films in which he assisted in the section, namely The Golden Moment: An Olympic Love Story, The Changeling and Popeye - The sailor with the hard blow.
The next major step in his career when he made Rubell assistant to the Master section Lou Lombardo and was by him, by its own account, all learned (He was my mentor. ). Lombardo was also the director Andrew Davis recommended Rubell for the horror film horror at Mill Creek use as a cutter, which was also its first self-responsible section.
