Per-Inge Tällberg

Per-Inge Tällberg ( born June 14, 1967 in Bollnäs ) is a former Swedish ski jumper.

Tallberg, who started for the club Bollnäs Gymnastikk och Idrottsförening ( Bollnäs GIF), his international career began at the Four Hills Tournament 1985/86, after the Swedish championship on the large hill in 1985. On December 30, 1985, he jumped for the first time in Oberstdorf in Ski Jumping World Cup. The first few years he remained unsuccessful in the tour. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1987 in Oberstdorf, he reached the normal hill and 46th on the large hill the 63rd.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988 Tällberg jumped on the normal hill on the 36th and on the large hill on the 22th place he had to share with Remo Lederer. In the team competition, he was together with Anders Daun Jan Boklöv and his brother Staffan Tällberg Seventh. In his first competition after the games in the Norwegian Meldal he reached the 4th place for the first time a place in the top ten. In the success of those two seasons, he could jump on the large hill in Planica in the points only once. In the Ski Flying World Championships 1990 in Vikersund he reached the 11th place at the end.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1991, he reached in Val di Fiemme on the normal hill and 28th in the large hill on the 14th Place. After the World Cup he succeeded in ski flying at Kulm with rank 3 the only World Cup podium finish of his career. Despite then only mediocre performances he belonged to the Swedish squad for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville. There, however, he could only reach the 50th place on the large hill. When a short time later held Ski Flying World Championships 1992 in Harrachov, he was unable to convince 29th place. After another mediocre results in the World Cup and at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1993 in Falun, he finished by the end of the 1992/93 season his active ski jumping career.
