Peres Saare is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Tudulinna ( Tudulinna vald ). It is located in Ida -Viru county (East Wierland ) in northeastern Estonia.

Description and History

The village has now only 5 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Before the 1930s, the city consisted of only three villages.

Neusiedler yards

Between 1933 and 1937, the Estonian Ministry of Agriculture in Peres Saare built on an area of ​​seventeen square kilometers, about 130 yards Neusiedl, whose agricultural land was between twelve and twenty acres. The residential and storage buildings caused by the government develop a type project by the architect Erika Nõva. The project was under the auspices of the Estonian State and Government Konstantin Pats.

The settlement project failed with the Soviet occupation of Estonia in 1940 and the collectivization of agriculture.
