Perivale tube station

Perivale is an aboveground station London Underground in the London Borough of Ealing. It is located in the Travelcard Zone 4 on the Horsenden Lane South. In the year 2011 there were 2.08 million passengers served by the Central Line station.

On May 2, 1904, the Great Western Railway ( GWR ) opened the breakpoint Perivale stop at the New North Main Line ( NNML ), which had been built the year before. As part of the 1935 New Works program adopted by the London Passenger Transport Board was an additional double track along the NNML moved to the end of the Second World War to allow the underground operation between North Acton and West Ruislip. The Central Line sailed the route from 30 June 1947, the GWR completed the breakpoint.

The station building was built according to the plans of the Australian GWR chief architect Brian Lewis. It consists of a narrow rectangular, lined with red brick building. Its front facade is concave and has a series of clerestory. Since 2011, the building is a listed building (Grade II).
