Peter Chebet

Peter Kiplagat Chebet (born 19 September 1982) is a Kenyan long-distance runner.

He was seventh in the World Half Marathon Championships in Bristol in his personal best of 1:00:56 in 2001. The following year he won the Berlin Half Marathon.

Thereafter, he focused on the marathon. Although he has now boast a number of front finishes in major races, was not granted to him in contrast to his older brother Joseph Chebet a victory. His personal best of 2:08:43 he set 2003 as the fourth of the Chicago Marathon on. The following year he was fourth at the Paris Marathon and second in the Berlin Marathon, 2006 then second in the Vienna City Marathon and fifth at the Frankfurt Marathon.
