Peter Sitt

Peter Sitt ( born December 7, 1969 in Porz ) is a former German swimmers. He grew up with his parents in Kerpen- Horrem and trained at the swimming club Horrem / meaning village. In 1984, he was "discovered" in the year of the German Swimming Federation Championships and then competed for the SSF Bonn, and later for the SV Rhenaniastraße Cologne and coached there until 1991 under Gerhard Hetz, he was trained by Rainer Henkel 1992. Among his greatest successes include winning the gold medal in the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay and the silver medal in the 4 x 100 - meter freestyle relay at the World Swimming Championships in 1991 in Perth.

At the 1988 Olympic Games Sitt resigned in advance with the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay on, in the final swam Michael Gross and Thomas Fahrner for Sitt and Stefan Pfeiffer and occupied together with Erik Hochstein and Rainer Henkel third place. All six involved in the flow and the final float received the bronze medal.
