Petra Marklund

September (* 12 September 1984 in Stockholm, actually Petra Linnea Paula Marklund ) is a Swedish singer.

Biography

September signed a record deal in 2003 and brought their debut single La La La ( Never Give It Up ) out with a large, nation- wide success. The follow-up singles We Can Do It All Over and September from the same album September were all hits.

The end of 2006, the single from the album was released Satellites In Orbit also in Germany.

On September 1, 2007 September of Sweden participated in the Sopot International Song Festival in Poland and arrived in third place.

For the fifth Schiller album Longing, which was published in 2008, sang as a guest artist on September the vocals for the song Breathe.

2008 September released her second pan-European album Dancing in Orbit. It includes songs from their albums Dancing Shoes and In Orbit. The first single from the album is the re-release Cry for You, based on the Bronski Beat Smalltown Boy hit from the year 1984.

Since 2012 she performs under her real name Petra Marklund and focused since then on songs in Swedish. Their first single Händerna mot himlen was a huge success in Sweden, it immediately debuted at # 1 in digital sales list. The song is included continuously in the top 10 of the charts Svensktoppen for over a year.

In the summer of 2014 Petra Marklund will host the program på Skansen Allsång.
