Petra Starčević

Petra Starčević ( born May 7, 1987 in Rijeka ) is a former Croatian biathlete.

Petra Starčević is a student and lives in Mrkopalj, where she trained for their active time. She started for Bjelolasica, where she was coached by Robert Petrovic. With the sport of biathlon and the Croatian began in 2001 and since then was also the national team of their country. In Ridnaun Starčević launched first time at the Junior World Championships in 2002 in her first international championship. They showed places 53 in singles and 57 in the sprint. A year later, she competed in the Junior World Championships in Koscielisko, where she reached the 62nd place in the sprint as well as in singles. The European Junior Championships concluded at the Junior World Championships in Forni Avoltri, where she was 35th in the sprint and 33 of persecution. In 2006, she participated in Presque Isle for the last time at a Junior World Championships in part, in which they took 31 finished seventh in singles, 35 in the sprint, in the pursuit and with Kovačec and Brajdić nine in the relay race. The seventh rank in the individual belongs to the outstanding results of Croatian biathletes.

In Obertilliach Starčević was first used in 2004 Biathlon European Cup for women was 28 in her first single, winning immediate first points. That same season also followed the debut in the Biathlon World Cup. The first race in Oberhof denied the Croatian and was 78th in a sprint. It was also her best result in the World Cup.
