Geographical Location
Pfronstetten located on the Swabian Alb, about 25 km south of Reutlingen.

History
In the district of Tiger field in 1942 by the Gestapo ( the Gestapo leadership Stuttgart) were forcibly housed Jewish seniors to their final deportation to the Theresienstadt concentration camp.
Today's church was re- formed in the course of municipal reform in Baden- Württemberg through the Association of Municipalities Pfronstetten, Aichelau Aichstetten, Geisingen, Huldstetten and Tiger field.

Parish council
The council consists of the elected councilors and the mayor as chairman. The mayor is entitled to vote in the local council. The local council in Pfronstetten has 12 volunteer members, according to the main statute of the community 2 seats are provided for each district. Pfronstetten is one of the few communities in which the municipal council is elected by the majority vote system. This means that only one list ( List citizens Pfronstetten ) is set up and those candidates who receive the most votes are elected. In the majority vote each selectable person may be added to written on the ballot. The turnout at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 was 73.54 %.

Personalities
- Stemmer Ludwig (1828-1908), born in Pfronstetten, doctor and priest, who founded the tourism in Lauterbach (Black Forest) after 1884 and appointed the first honorary citizen Lauterbach was
