Philip of Artois, Count of Eu

Philippe d' Artois, comte d' Eu ( probably * 1358, † poisoned June 16, 1397 in Micalizo, Ottoman Empire ) was from 1387, Count of Eu and Constable of France from 1392 to succeed Oliver de Clisson. He was the son of Jean d' Artois, Count of Eu from the home France -Artois, and Isabella of Melun.

1383 he took the English city Bourbourg away. He then went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, where he was taken prisoner by the Sultan of Egypt.
