Philipp Heithölter

Philipp Heithölter ( born August 28, 1982 in Herford ) is a German football player. He plays as a left-footed left-sided midfielder.

Career

Raised in Herford Heithölter played at SV Sundern 08 and thereafter at SC Herford until he moved to Oberliga spruce Bielefeld 2002. A year later he moved to the larger local rivals Arminia Bielefeld.

Thus at second division club Arminia he was in his first professional season in 2003/ 04 off the bench four times, with the reserve he was master of the Oberliga Westfalen. In the following season he played 19 games for the Regional League second team. This rose from 2005 in the Oberliga, whereupon Heithölter was loaned together with Henning Grieneisen to the North division side Holstein Kiel.

After the descent of Kiel in the Oberliga (2007) Heithölter moved to Rot Weiss Ahlen. From July 2009 to June 2011 he played for second division side SC Paderborn 07 Then Heithölter graduated from September 2011, a trial at Arminia Bielefeld, but has not committed due to lack of funding. In January 2012 Heithölter finally signed a new contract in Bielefeld, after he had already trained almost the entire season with the Arminia. After an operation on his Achilles tendon and persistent symptoms, he missed the entire season 2012/13.
